Delete your account

This covers the app “askVela — AI Customer Chat” and askvela.pro. Both use the same account: delete it once and it is gone everywhere.

In the app or in your browser

  1. 1. Sign in

    Sign in to the app or to askvela.pro with your email address.

  2. 2. Open your account

    Go to “Account” and open the “Security” area.

  3. 3. Confirm deletion

    Choose “Delete account” and confirm. This cannot be undone.

Lost access?

Write to us from the email address the account was created with. We will verify it is you and delete the account for you.

What gets deleted

  • Account and credentials (name, email, password hash, two-factor secrets)
  • The workspace with all conversations, messages and attachments
  • Your customers' contact records including their messages
  • Knowledge base, products, canned responses, flows and settings
  • Push tokens of your devices and all active sessions

What we have to keep

  • Invoices and payment records – 10 years, because German commercial and tax law requires it (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
  • A one-way hash of your email address on our suppression list, so that we never send you marketing again.

How long it takes

Deletion starts immediately and has worked through our backups after 30 days at the latest. You will receive a confirmation by email.
