Activate Super Duolingo – how it works after purchase

Super Duolingo (12 months) is activated on your existing Duolingo account. You won’t receive new login details and don’t need to create a new account. Your learning progress, XP, and streak will remain intact.

How activation works

1. Open your order email: Right after payment, you’ll receive an email with the button “Activate Super Duolingo”. The link takes you to plusfox.de/duoactivate and includes your activation code (format DUO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). You’ll also find the link in your order confirmation.
2. Verify your code: The code is already entered via the link. Click “Activate now”. You can also enter the code manually.
3. Find your Duolingo profile: Enter your Duolingo username (at least 2 characters, with or without @) and select your profile from the results. The article “Find your Duolingo username” explains how to find your username.
4. Confirm your profile: Carefully check the profile picture, name, and @username, then confirm by clicking “Yes, activate”. The invitation will be sent to this account.
5. Accept the invitation: We’ll send the invitation automatically. It will appear in the Duolingo app and will also arrive by email from Duolingo. Super will only be active on your account after you accept it.

Good to know

• A family invitation is correct: Activation works through an invitation to a Duolingo Family Plan. It’s normal to see other people listed there. Each person has their own spot, and your access isn’t restricted.
• One-time payment, no subscription: Super lasts 12 months and doesn’t renew automatically. You don’t need to cancel anything. We’ll remind you by email 7 days before it expires so you can renew if you wish.
• One link per Duolingo account: If you bought multiple units, the email will contain a separate activation link for each one. Each link applies to exactly one Duolingo account.
• Timing: After you confirm, processing starts automatically as soon as the system is available. The status page shows your progress and updates automatically. This takes up to 24 hours, and often much less.
• No separate app: You use Super Duolingo in the regular Duolingo app. Make sure you’re signed in there with the account you selected.
